To Oxford Democrats, all children are our shining stars and our hopes for tomorrow. We must provide them with the best educational experience so they can move forward with confidence, courage and a wealth of knowledge for successful futures. Our children deserve nothing less. Oxford Democrats stand strong and steady on improving continually the public educational experience of Oxford’s children. Our public system must exceed current national and state standards through thoughtful planning and management expected from our Board of Education, high quality administrators and teachers who are dedicated to their goals. Our elected officials must deliver on critical success factors that include open transparency on controlled spending with full consideration given to all district and community requirements. They must communicate openly and honestly with all boards, commissions and residents at all times. In addition, we expect our officials to be vigilant about evolving educational requirements and trends so that Oxford kids will stand prepared to face the future at all times.
